Orahold terms of use
Last updated: 1 September 2026
This is a plain-language agreement. It is not a substitute for legal advice.
The short version
You pay a subscription. We act as your authorised agent and ask data brokers and other companies to delete your personal information, we chase them, we check whether they actually did it, and we start again every month because these listings come back. You can cancel any time from your account page, and we will refund you in full within your first thirty days.
The one thing we cannot do is promise a result. We can promise the work, done properly and reported honestly. The rest of this page is that same deal in more detail, and by using Orahold you are agreeing to it.
Who we are
Orahold is owned and operated by Nuu Labs LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States. In these terms, Orahold, we, and us all mean the same thing, and you means the person using the service.
You can contact us at hello at orahold dot com. Our registered office is 312 W 2nd St, Unit #A2299, Casper, Natrona County, WY 82601, United States.
What we do for you
- The free scan. You give us a phone number or an email address, and we show you where your details are published and which known data breaches your email appears in. It costs nothing and needs no card.
- Removal requests. Once you subscribe and authorise us, we send a formal deletion or opt-out request, in your name, to each company we believe holds your details, citing the privacy law that applies where you live.
- Chasing and verification. We follow up when a company goes quiet, and we go back and look for ourselves before marking a listing removed.
- Monthly re-checks. If your details reappear, we start the request again, at no extra cost, for as long as you are a member.
- Monitoring and alerts. We tell you when your details turn up in a new breach or on a new site.
- The scam checker. Forward a text, a link or an email and we will give you an opinion on whether it looks like a scam.
- A monthly report. What came down, what we are still chasing, and anything new.
We may change, add or retire parts of the service. If we retire something you rely on, we will tell you before it happens.
Authorising us to act for you
Before we send anything, you appoint us as your authorised agent by agreeing to a short authorisation in your account. You are asked to agree to specific words, we record which version you agreed to and when, and we can quote it verbatim to any company that asks us to prove we act for you.
To make a request find your records, we have to give those companies identifying details: your name, year of birth, email addresses, phone numbers, and current and previous addresses. Authorising us is you instructing us to do exactly that. If that is not something you want, do not authorise us, and nothing will be sent.
You can withdraw the authorisation at any time from your account. We stop sending requests immediately. We cannot un-send what has already gone, and we cannot make a company forget it received a request from you.
What we cannot promise
Please read this part properly, because it is the honest limit of what any service like ours can do.
- We do not control the companies we write to. They can comply, refuse, ignore us, demand more identification, or say they hold no record of you. We do not decide which.
- We cannot guarantee every listing will be removed, or that any particular one will be, or how long it will take. Most US privacy laws give a company up to 45 days to respond, and some simply do not.
- Your details will reappear. These companies rebuild their lists from public records every few months. That is not a failure of the service; handling it is the service, which is why we re-check monthly for as long as you are a member.
- We cannot find every site. We work from a registry of the data brokers we know about. New ones appear, and some are not discoverable at all.
- A removal is not erasure from the internet. We cannot remove court records, property records, news articles, social media you control, or anything published lawfully outside the reach of a privacy request.
- Any figures on our marketing pages describe the service in general and are not a prediction of your result. What we find for you, and how much of it comes down, depends on where you have lived, which sites hold you, and how each one responds.
We do not promise that the service will stop identity theft, fraud, spam or scam calls. It reduces how easily somebody can find you, which reduces how often you are targeted. That is a real benefit and it is not the same as a guarantee.
Orahold is not a law firm
Nothing we send you, show you, or say to you is legal advice, and we are not your lawyers. We act as your agent to make requests the law already lets you make yourself. If you need advice about your rights, talk to a lawyer.
We are also not a consumer reporting agency, and nothing we provide is a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. You must not use the scan or anything in your account to make decisions about somebody's credit, employment, housing, insurance, or eligibility for anything.
The scam checker
The scam checker is generated by an artificial-intelligence model. It is an opinion, produced by software, to help you decide, not a verdict and not a guarantee. It will sometimes be wrong in both directions: it can call something safe that is not, and something suspicious that is fine.
Never treat it as the only reason to trust a message, and never treat it as permission to click a link, send money or share a code. If something matters, check with the organisation directly using a number or address you already had.
Your account
You need an account to use the paid service, and you create it after paying. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, use an email address you can actually access, and tell us if you think somebody else has got into your account.
You must be at least 18 to hold an account. If the information you give us is untrue or out of date, we can suspend or close the account, and in this service, wrong details mean wrong requests going out in your name, so this matters more than it usually would.
Adding other people
If your plan covers more than one person, you may add them. By doing so you confirm that you have their permission to act for them, or that you are legally entitled to act for them, such as a parent for their own child. You are responsible for that being true.
If somebody you added tells us they did not agree, we will stop acting for them and remove their details.
Fair use
Do not use Orahold to:
- Look up, monitor or remove information about somebody who has not asked you to.
- Enter another person's details as your own, or impersonate anybody.
- Make decisions about a person's credit, employment, housing or insurance.
- Resell access, share your account, or run the service on behalf of other people commercially.
- Scrape, copy or resell our content, our broker registry, or anything else of ours.
- Break, overload or probe the service, or work around any limit we set.
- Send us anything unlawful, or use the scam checker to develop a scam.
If you do any of this we can suspend or close your account. If it was paid for and had not broken these rules before, we will refund the unused part.
What it costs, and how billing works
- Plans are sold as recurring subscriptions, billed monthly or annually depending on which you choose. The price, the billing period, and the amount due today are all shown in full before you pay.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, and your card is charged again, until you cancel. There is no trial and no separate charge afterwards.
- Payment is taken by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Taxes are added where the law requires and are shown at checkout.
- Before an annual plan renews, we will email you a reminder with the date and the amount, in time to cancel if you would rather not continue.
- We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- If a payment fails, our payment processor retries it. If it keeps failing, we pause the work on your account until it goes through, and a paused account means removal requests stop going out.
- We can correct pricing errors, even after an order is placed, and we can refuse or cancel an order.
Cancelling
Cancel any time, in a couple of clicks. Open your Account page and choose Manage billing. There is no phone call, no retention script and no cancellation fee.
Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep access, and we keep working, until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that we stop sending requests on your behalf, which is the honest consequence of cancelling, because listings that come back will stay back.
Cancelling does not delete your data. To have that removed as well, email us and ask; see the privacy policy.
Refunds
Thirty-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy in your first thirty days, email us and we will refund what you paid, in full. No phone call and no questions.
After thirty days, subscriptions are not generally refundable, but if something has gone wrong or you were charged for something you did not mean to buy, email us and we will make it right. Where the consumer law where you live gives you a stronger right, that law wins.
Changes to the service and the price
We will keep changing the service: more brokers, better letters, new checks. If we change the price of your plan, or retire something you rely on, we will email you before it takes effect and you can cancel before the next payment.
We may also update these terms. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page, but a changed page on its own is not your agreement to anything. If a change materially affects your rights or what you pay, we will email you before it takes effect and tell you when that is. You can cancel before then. Continuing to use Orahold after a change we have told you about is what counts as accepting it.
Availability
We work to keep Orahold running, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. Maintenance, outages at our providers, and bugs happen. Because the removal engine runs on a schedule rather than on demand, a short outage delays work rather than losing it.
Our content
The site, the copy, the broker registry, the request letters and the brand are ours. You may use them personally as part of your subscription. You may not republish or resell them.
Liability
Orahold is provided as it is, and to the extent the law allows we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including identity theft, fraud, harassment, lost income or distress arising from information that stayed published, reappeared, or was never found. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
None of this applies to our own serious wrongdoing. Nothing above limits or excludes our liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited. Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to cover us for any claim brought by somebody else because of how you used Orahold, or because you entered their details without the right to.
Ending the agreement
You can cancel and stop using Orahold at any time. We can close your account if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we will refund the unused part of your subscription.
Electronic communications
Using the site, emailing us, and completing forms in your account all count as communicating in writing. You agree that notices, receipts and agreements we send you electronically satisfy any requirement for them to be in writing, including your authorisation for us to act as your agent.
If there is a problem
Email hello at orahold dot com first. Almost everything is solved that way, and quickly. If it is not, we will both try in good faith to settle it informally before anyone starts a formal claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts there have jurisdiction, but nothing in this paragraph takes away a right you have under the consumer law of the state where you live, including the right to bring a claim in your local small claims court.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
